Mayenne’s birthday bash

BECKY GARCIA

The executive rooms of Marriott Hotel have never seen this kind of action! The occasion was Mayenne Carmona’s disco-themed birthday party, where a band played disco music of the 70s, 80s and 90s while the guests boogied and gyrated all night long.

Singers Lilibeth Garcia, Marci David and Rachel Vern knew the kind of tunes that would turn the guests into dancing queens. The highlight of the party was George Sarakinis who rocked the room with his Elvis Presley numbers. When he grooved to “Shake Baby Shake,” the dance divas and their partners could not help but dance along.

Marriott’s F&B department also did not disappoint with the delicious dishes and the sumptuous buffet they prepared for the celebrant. Arce Dairy’s ice cream cart was a big hit with cheese, ube, coffee crumble and vanilla as the guests’ favorite flavors. Finally, a well-supplied drinks bar put everyone in the right mood.

Celebrant Mayenne credits Marriott Director of Sales and Communications Michelle Garcia, and events coordinator Redgen Velasco for the perfect details and dynamics of the evening.

Cheers to the birthday girl for hosting such a fun party!
