RAINS are expected to prevail over parts of Luzon and Visayas on Monday as tropical storm “Hanna” slightly intensified and was enhancing the southwest monsoon or habagat, the state-run weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) spotted tropical depression “Hanna” at 945 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, moving in a northward direction and maintaining a speed of 15 kilometers per hour (kph). It slightly intensified with increased maximum sustained winds of 75 kph and gustiness of 90 kph.
