Cua-Jimenez tandem tops Manila Southwoods monthly tournament

 

The tandem of Kevin Cua and Carlos Jimenez won the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club July members’ monthly tournament on July 28 in Carmona, Cavite.

Men’s I champions Kevin Cua and Carlos Jimenez

Cua and Jimenez forged a 143 aggregate to beat Renie Floro and Carl Jimenez’s 147 in Men’s 1.

Rommel Gutierrez and Arthur Balmadrid carded a 137 to beat Rolando Torres and Fernando Pizarro’s 145 in Men’s 2.

Senior’s I champions Mentz Deguito and Brian Park


Mentz Deguito and Brian Park scored a 130 to claim the Seniors 1 trophy. Bong Sison and Sang Jin Lee, with 136, bagged the runner-up plum.

Super Seniors champions Ed Jose and Esmeraldo Roseles

Michael Frederiksen and Hannu Pelkonen sizzled with a 126 to rule Seniors 2 beating Jun Ymbong and Gil Angeles with a 134.

Ed Jose and Esmeraldo Roseles dominated the Super Seniors class.

Mixed Pairs I champions Tae Hyung Ha and Suk Eun Hee

In the Mixed Pair division, Tae Hyung Ha and Suk Eun Hee (142), and Soon Ja Park and Young Sik Seo (143) were hailed as champions in Divisions 1 and 2, respectively.
