Fresnedi warns “protectors”: Do not interfere with clearing ops in Muntinlupa

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi has warned alleged “protectors” of individuals parking on illegal areas and selling products in sidewalks to not meddle with the clearing operations conducted by the local government.

Fresnedi stressed in a meeting of Muntinlupa Task Force Discipline (TFD), an inter-agency body committed in the removal of obstructions on public roads and sidewalks, that the City Government of Muntinlupa means business in adhering to President Rodrigo Duterte’s directive to “reclaim public spaces.”

The local exec presided the TFD meeting on August 5 together with DILG Assistant Secretary for Plans and Programs Francisco Cruz and all nine Muntinlupa barangay chairmen. Members of TFD presented updates of activities carried out by the task force.
