Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky brings the ‘Antarctic experience’ to Manila

Emperador Inc Executive Director Kendrick Tan presents Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky.

The best way to enjoy a glass of blended malt whisky—particularly something whose history is as epic and celebrated as Whyte & Mackay’s Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky—is to experience the thrill and excitement of its discovery first hand.

Capturing only the finest whisky experience brought to Antarctica by British explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and his team in 1907, Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is now touring select spots in Metro Manila via a roving iceberg museum.

Inside the truck, temperatures can go as low as -15 degrees Celsius to give guests the invigorating experience of trying out the blended malt whisky.

“We are bringing the Antarctic experience closer to whisky aficionados with our Shackleton ice truck beginning here at Landers Arcovia in Pasig City. Through this, we will be giving an interactive tasting experience where the flavor notes of our blended malt will come to life,” says Pia Bonalos-Mercado, brand manager for Shackleton Blended Malt Scotch Whisky.
