MALOLOS CITY: Not even the inclement weather will hinder the Bulakenyos from celebrating and commemorating the 441st Bulacan Founding Anniversary of the province this Thursday in front of the Provincial Capitol Building here. Gov. Daniel Fernando said reminiscing history would remind people of the purpose of the province, which has been home to Bulakenyos in the past 441 years. Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu will be represented by Undersecretary for Field Operations Juan Miguel Cuna as guest of honor. August 15 of every year is declared as Bulacan Foundation Day in The New Provincial Administrative Code of Bulacan and a special non-working holiday as stated in Section 27 of The Provincial Legal Holidays.
