Tech experts highlight adoption of innovation in retail stores

 

How can retailers adopt technology in their physical stores in order to engage better with their customers?

Digital transformation has changed the way people do business. For retailers in particular, technology has become an indispensable tool in engaging customers.

At the 26th National Retail Conference and Stores Asia Expo (NRCE)” the biggest gathering of retailers and retail suppliers in the country” tech experts discussed how retailers can adopt technology in their physical stores in order to engage better with their customers.

During the event that takes place from August 15 to 16 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, Jesus Vega, retail technology evangelist and former managing director of the biggest fashion retail brand in the world” Zara-Inditex, provided tips on how retailers can surf the digital transformation tsunami.

As a technology evangelist, he has designed models to help professionals and businesses achieve their dreams.

During his turn, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Head of Digital Innovation Jaspal Johl shared the importance of reimagining innovation on behalf of the customer.

Johl examined how Amazon views and leverages technology as a utility to increase the pace of innovation across the organization, getting to market faster and building an operating model that enables continuous innovation so retailers can stay ahead of their customers needs.

For the second day of the event, top global retail and technology influencer and Aptos Vice President of Retail Innovation Nikki Baird provides real life excellent examples of retailers digital strategies in store.
