THE Philippine Red Cross-Malabon Chapter is presenting, “Red Cross Humanity Gala Two:Modernong Filipiniana.” The proceeds from the fashion show will be used to fund the Chapter’s Blood Bank and to augment the financial viability of the PRC Hemodialysis Center.

Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Chairman and CEO Richard Gordon lauded Malabon Chapter for organizing Humanity Gala Two. “I commend Malabon Chapter Board of Directors, staff and volunteers, and of course our partners for coming up with this fund-raising event once again. Every chapter should conduct its own fund-raising activities to provide resources to help alleviate human suffering and uplift human dignity”, said Gordon.

The event, under the direction of Raymond Villanueva, will showcase beautiful and unique creations from veteran fashion designer Renee Salud.

“In every fashion show that I do, I see to it that I present our Filipino Heritage. I incorporate the indigenous fabric to modern silhouette”, said Salud. This event will feature Inaul, a fabric from Maguindanao Region whose weavers want to promote wider use by the public.

The Humanity Gala will be on September 21, 2019, Saturday, at the Solaire Tent, Paranaque City.
