Construction worker hangs self in Caloocan

A construction worker was found dead, in an apparent suicide in Caloocan City on Sunday evening, police said.

The victim was identified as Julius Caesar, 18.

A police report said the body was discovered at 9:50 p.m. by Mar Jun Maranoa, 27, with whom the victim spent the night drinking.


Maranoa said when Caesar went inside his house, he followed and saw the victim hanging from the ceiling with a plastic straw tied around his neck.

Maranoa said he sought the assistance of the barangay.
