Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte on August 16, gave her assurances that the city-wide clearing of obstructions and illegal structures will be sustained even after the 60-day period given by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Speaking to reporters before the demolition of the Damayang Lagi barangay hall, Mayor Belmonte said that the city is deputizing the barangays to ensure that the city’s streets are free of any obstructions.
