THE construction arm of listed Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. (AEV) have teamed up with Austral Philippines on building offshore patrol vessels for the Philippine Navy.
In a statement on Wednesday, Cebu province-based Aboitiz Construction Inc. (ACI) said it had a signed a memorandum of agreement with Austral on building six such vessels, under which the Aboitiz unit would serve as the latter’s local subcontractor.
