P40-M farm-to-market roads completed

 

EIGHT farm-to-market (FMR) roads in Cagayan province worth P40 million were completed to facilitate easy access to and from the market and to boost economic development in the areas that were benefited. Regional Director Loreta Malaluan of the Department of Public Works and Highways-Region 2 said the project was expected to improve the transport of agricultural produce from farms to the commercial areas in the locality. Malaluan said the completed FMR road projects were in the villages of Fabrica and Logac in Lal-lo, subvillage Luga and Alucao village in Santa Teresita town, Baybayog village in Alcala town, Cabanbanan Sur-Rebecca villages and subvillage Tabungao-Flourishing village in Gonzaga town, and Santor-Hacienda Intal villages and Imurung village in Baggao town.
