COTABATO CITY: The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has started its phase-out plan that would slowly relieve some 6,000 employees from the regional bureaucracy in its six areas, namely Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi and Cotabato City, a top regional official said.
Muslim Mindanao Interior and Local Government Minister and regional spokesman Naguib Sinarimbo said the last part of the phase-out process “is due in the last week of December 2019 when there will be no more funds for them.”
