2 suspects nabbed in couple’s killing

 

CITY OF MALOLOS: Lt. Col. Emerey Abating, Malolos police chief, said on Tuesday they have already two suspects in the killing of a prominent businessman and his wife l;ast Sunday in Maunlad Homes Subdivision, Barangay Mojon. The suspects’ identities were temporarily withheld pending completion of investigations Abating said. Probers are looking into business competition as the motive behind the killing of Christian Espiritu, 38, and his wife Mary Chris, 29. Investigators are collecting all closed-circuit television footages on the escape route the gunman took. Abating also clarified that the suspect was wearing a jacket and short pants and not a police t-shirt uniform as earlier reported.
