A lawyer and two others were arrested for allegedly trying to bribe police with P1.2 million for the release of two Chinese arrested for human trafficking, police said.
Based on the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) report, Joselito Vasquez, 56, a lawyer; Huang Xiangfei, 29, a Chinese; and driver Meljohn Palma, 43 were arrested by operatives of NCRPO's Regional Special Operations Unit (RSOU) at 2 a.m. inside Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.
