Del Monte declares dividends


DUAL-LISTED Del Monte Pacific Ltd. announced on Tuesday that it had declared dividends to its Series A-1 and Series A-2 preference shares. In a disclosure, the food and beverage firm said the dividends covered shares from April 8 to October 7. Series A-1 preference shares carry a fixed rate of 6.625-percent annual interest or $0.3315 (P17.24) per share, while Series A-2 preference shares have an annual interest of 6.5 percent or $0.325 (P16.9) apiece. Payment of dividends is scheduled on October 7. Del Monte shares were up 4 centavos or 0.66 percent to P6.09 apiece on Tuesday.
