FORMER governor Amado "Ama" Espino Jr. was injured and his two bodyguards and driver killed in an ambush in Pangasinan on Wednesday, a police official said.
Brig. Gen. Joel Orduna, Region 1 Police Regional Office (PRO) Director, said Espino was on board when unidentified gunmen fired at his vehicle in Barangay Magtaking in San Carlos City at about 4:30 p.m.
