BanKo-Perlas seeks a repeat but PetroGazz goes all-out for a payback, guaranteeing a fierce duel as two of the league’s top teams begin their second round elims campaign in the Premier Volleyball League Season 3 Open Conference at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan today.
The Perlas Spikers subdued the Reinforced Conference champions in four when they first clashed last Aug. 11 but the Angels are coming off an impressive four-game run to close out their first round stint, including a shutout win over title contender Motolite last Sunday as they posted identical 5-2 slates behind the Creamline Cool Smashers, who swept the first round.
