“Let’s enjoy life. Life is short, don’t make it shorter.”

That’s Comedy Queen AiAi delas Alas’ excellent advice to bashers on social media, and specifically to those who just won’t stop putting down judges of reality singing competitions season after season.

As she goes in to the second edition of the GMA Network original search, “The Clash,” with top balladeer Christian Bautista and Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha, delas Alas hopes that viewers will just enjoy the excitement of the show rather than judge their performances on the panel.

Kami!” quipped the funny woman who has had her share of remarks from netizens that she has no business judging a singing competition.

“I just wish people would do their research before they throw their comments around,” Bautista joined in this special interview arranged by the network with The Clash judges. “I mean, they should know that AiAi delas Alas had filled The Araneta Coliseum a several times and was dubbed the ‘Comedy Concert Queen’ because of her achievements.”

“And also, AiAi may not be a musician or singer pero she has a very good ear. She has a very good eye kung sino ang talented. It’s the whole package that’s important to make it in the industry and it’s her decades of experience in showbiz — her huge success — that makes her in every way an effective and excellent judge,” Misalucha added.

“Salamat, Mare!” the ever easy going Comedy Queen chimed.

The Clash premieres on GMA Network on September 21.
