Continuing the country’s 42-year dominance in the Southeast Asian Games is the mission the Philippine Blu Girls imposed upon themselves in their bid to defend the women’s softball title in the coming 30th edition of the biennial conclave the country is hosting late this year.

And if you ask national head coach Randy Dizer, his present day girls are more than capable of accomplishing the task of protecting that reputation their predecessors earned since the country first joined the former Southeast Asian Peninsular Games in 1977.
