Fintech TrueMoney partners with Philippine telco

Philippine telco PLDT is expanding its retail accessibility with TrueMoney, the fastest growing financial technology company in Southeast Asia.

Under this partnership, PLDT wireless units Smart Communications Inc. (Smart), TNT, and Sun subscribers could easily buy prepaid load, particularly Gigavideo+ 149, through the 20,000-plus TrueMoney centers all over the Philippines.

With Gigavideo+ 149, subscribers could enjoy 2 gigabytes (GB) data allocation, plus 1 GB video everyday, and unli-call and texts to Smart, TNT and Sun for a whole week on the country’s fastest network. Customers may also get additional P10 load when they avail of this Giga load package from Sept. 10 to Dec. 31, 2019 exclusively from TrueMoney.

“This partnership is a fulfillment of a shared vision with TrueMoney, which is to bring more value and convenience to our customers. Our goal is to make our products and services more available to our millions of mobile prepaid subscribers nationwide,” said Precy Katigbak, vice president and head of National Key Accounts at PLDT-Smart.

“We look forward to this collaboration with an innovative and reliable partner like Smart, as we connect more underserved sectors with digital and financial services in the country,” said Jenilyn Valdez, chief financial officer and officer in charge-chief executive officer at TrueMoney

The partnership between Smart and TrueMoney was also made possible with the support of Uniwiz Trade Sales Inc. (LoadCentral).

“We are happy to be part of the alliance of these two technology brands in the country,” said Jeff Boone, general manager at LoadCentral.
