The awarding ceremony organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines brought together recognized communications professionals in a night that celebrated the industry’s best and most deserving campaigns. SM Cinema’s Reel to Real Campaign was awarded in the Communications Management category, winning Quill Awards of Excellence for both the Customer Relations and Special and Experiential Events categories.
SM Cinema was also recently nominated by the prestigious PR Awards Asia in Hong Kong, which celebrates the most outstanding campaigns in Asia-Pacific’s public relations industry. The Reel-to-Real campaign was a finalist in the PR Events category.
The Reel-to-Real campaign is a series of activations timed with film releases throughout the year wherein SM Cinema brought to life movies and created spaces where moviegoers could immerse themselves into the world of their favorite films. The initiative not only increased brand mileage but also positively impacted sales and cinema attendance from the previous year.
