P204-M shabu seized, suspect nabbed in Pasig drug bust

 

ABOUT P204 million worth of shabu was seized and a high value drug suspect was atrested in a drug operation in Pasig City on Monday evening, police said.

Police Major General Guillermo Eleazar, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director, identified the suspect as Manolito Lugo Carlos alias “Tonge.”

Based on the NCRPO report on Tuesday,  Carlos was arrested after authorities served him a search warrant, issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 152, at Sorrento Oasis Residences, C. Reymundo Avenue., Barangay Rosario at 7:40 p.m.

Recovered inside the suspect’s room, which was used as a drug den, were 30 plastic packs of Chinese Tea containing suspected shabu weighing 30 kilos.

Carlos was a member of an organized gang doing illegal drug trades in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and Calabarzon or Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon.

Carlos was also arrested in 2000 for illegal drug use but was acquitted. DARWIN PESCO
