BARMM creates own regional flag

COTABATO CITY: The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) produced recently its own regional flag to distinctly show its own identity outside the red-white-blue Philippine national flag, a top Muslim Mindanao government official said.

BARMM Chief Minister Ahod “Murad” Ebrahim announced that the first copy of the flag was initially flown at the BARMM executive building in this city even as its other versions will eventually be distributed and flown later in its several areas of coverage, namely Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao, Basilan, Tawi-Tawi, Marawi City (Lanao del Sur), Lamitan City (Basilan) and some municipalities of North Cotabato.
