The ouster from office of the mayor of Bangued, Abra, and the suspension of the town’s vice mayor stay as a result of the failure of the 5th Division of the Court of Appeals (CA) to issue a temporary restraining order (TRO) against the two officials from continuing to occupy their posts.
The Office of the Ombudsman had ordered the dismissal from the service of Bangued Mayor Dominic Valera and the suspension of Vice Mayor Mila Acosta-Valera.
