THE Asian Development Bank (ADB) announced on Tuesday that Takehiko Nakao would resign his position as president of the multilateral lender early next year.
In a statement, the ADB quoted Nakao as saying in his message to the bank’s staff and board members that he was leaving his post — to take effect on Jan. 16, 2020 — “with a deep sense of satisfaction and gratitude.”
