The Tanduay Rum Festival in Bacolod City showcased the different ways one could experience the popular rum. Enjoyed on its own or as a cocktail mix, rum can likewise add a different flavor profile to appetizers, main dishes and desserts.

“One of the main activities of the festival was the Culinaria Competition. It challenged the chefs in Bacolod to come up with dishes and desserts using rum as one of the ingredients. In doing so, these talented chefs have shown that rum can be used as an ingredient to add a different flavor to food,” said Tanduay Chief Marketing Officer Paul Lim.
