TUGUEGARAO CITY: Police lodged human trafficking charges against two recruiters on Wednesday, as 37 Agtas, who have been barred from traveling to Metro Manila, were allegedly duped into joining a group of militant anti-Martial Law protesters after being promised to receive P1 million for each family.

Tuguegarao Deputy Police Chief Maj. Ruben Verbo said the two recruiters, Rufino Onia and Maria Barcena, were indicted for human trafficking before the city prosecutor’s office.
