TARLAC: The Lechon Festival may not be a trademark here, but a similar activity was held at the Capitol grounds on Friday to show the African swine fever (ASF) was unwelcome in the province.

This is how provincial veterinarian Ma. Lorna Baculanta described the activity in an attempt to demonstrate the safety of pork in Tarlac, as thousands took their share of slices from 65 lechon through a boodle fight organized by local governments, participating agencies and hog raisers.
