SENATE Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri is pushing for the passage of a measure extending the validity of firearms and ammunition license from two years to five years.

Zubiri has filed Senate Bill 1023, amending Republic Act (RA) 10591 or the “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act,” which also seeks to extend the firearm registration from four to five years.
