Inflation likely further decelerated in September as lower rice and electricity prices offset the uptick in crude prices, analysts polled by The Manila Times said.

Projections for the month ranged from 1.0 to 1.9 percent with a 1.3 percent average, down from the 1.7 percent in August and the 6.7 percent recorded in the same month last year.
