Village councilor ambushed in Cavite

 

A village councilor (barangay kagawad) was gunned down in Bacoor, Cavite, police reported on Tuesday.

Lt. Col. Vicente Cabatingan, Bacoor Police chief, identified the victim as Narciso Tagle, 50, of Barangay Molino 4 while his driver, Albert Herrera, was wounded.

Based on the report sent to the reporters, the lone unidentified gunman shot Tagle at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
