Bacoor village chief gunned down

A Barangay kagawad (village councilor) was gunned down in Bacoor, Cavite, a police reported on Tuesday said. Bacoor Police chief Lt. Col. Vicente Cabatingan identified the victim as Narciso Tagle, 50, of Barangay Molino 4. While his driver, Albert Herrera, was wounded and was rushed to Metro South Medical Center Molino. Based on the police report, Tagle was resting in his Nipa Hut at 3:30 p.m. on Monday when suddenly the gunman shot him. Police are now conducting investigation of the incident.
