THE Germany-based pharmaceutical firm Boehringer Ingelheim is continuing talks with local medical organizations to help make around 360 hospitals “stroke-ready" to cover the growing population of the Philippines.
Boehringer, through its Angels Initiative—a healthcare initiative—seeks to increase the number of stroke-ready hospitals in the country to make the treatment available as soon as possible to stroke victims, where the first 60 minutes is crucial.
