CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga: The Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict 3(RTF-Elcac 3) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) said it had made significant strides in its mandate to swiftly address security, socioeconomic and other related problems in Central Luzon, noting 11 communist rebels surrendered and one was arrested since July this year.

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) on Wednesday said since the RTF-Elcac 3 creation in July of this year, 11 leaders and members of the “Communist Terrorist Groups” have voluntarily surrendered and assorted firearms and explosives were recovered.
