NASUGBU, Batangas: Workers at a swimming pool stumbled on a mass grave containing 14 skeletons believed to be the remains of prisoners of war during the Japanese occupation of the country in World War II, police said on Sunday.

Police cordoned off the area in Nasugbu town, about a three-hour drive south of Manila, shortly after the workers discovered the remains on Friday.
