CEBU CITY: Two days after a department store in Ormoc City burned to the ground supposedly due to a cache of fireworks, police in Cebu City started confiscating illegal pyrotechnics.
At least eight establishments in the city’s downtown area were raided. Boxes of imported fireworks were confiscated and loaded into trucks.
