THE Philippine Stock Exchange and the Bureau of Internal Revenue have signed a memorandum of agreement aimed at encouraging more companies to list at the local bourse by cutting them some slack with regard to the tax agency’s audit program.

Francis Lim, PSE president, said the first beneficiary of the incentive is the Philippine National Oil Corp.-Exploration Development Corp., which completed its initial public offering on Wednesday.
