BAGUIO CITY: It was a sweet victory for the Golden Oats Plus in the last day of the premiere Fil Championship flight of the Fil-Am Golf Invitational Thursday at the Baguio Country Club course after the John Hay meltdown.
Golden Oats needed just 97 points but went on to score a closing round of 108 for an aggregate 450 and win the title by at least 12 points over the gritty CJH squad, which finished with a 98 for 438.
