DILG validates road clearing ops

 

GENERAL TRIAS CITY: The Regional Director’s Office of the Department of the Interior and Local Government in Cavite-Laguna-Batangas-Quezon (Calabarzon) area released last week the reports on clearing of illegal structures and obstructions along city and national roads in seven cities and 16 towns of Cavite.

Director Elias Fernandez said General Tria, together with Bacoor, Imus, Cavite, and Tagaytay, received high compliance record while Dasmariñas City received only medium compliance rating and Trece Martires City, low compliance rating. The road clearing operations were in compliance of the directive of President Rodrigo Duterte as embodied in Memorandum Circular 2019-121 dated July 29, 2019. The neighboring towns of Noveleta, Magallanes and Amadeo rating was high compliance. Cities of Bacoor rated 95; Imus City, 96.2; and Cavite, 92, for a high compliance rating.
