Thaifex – World of Food Asia, popularly known as Thailand Food Exhibition has been staged annually since 1991 by the Department of International Trade Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce.

In 2003, the exhibition was reformatted with two key partner agencies, the Thailand Chamber of Commerce and Koelnmesse, to meet the demands of the global market. Since then, the event has been recognized worldwide among food and beverage industries as well as related businesses as the biggest and most comprehensive food and beverage fair in Asia.

Thaifex-World of Food Asia 2019 had exhibitors from 42 countries. More than 2,700 companies occupied 131,000 square meters in several exhibiton halls and generated more than $360 million in sales.

“The refreshed brand of Thaifex-Anuga Asia affirms the global standard of the trade fair as a springboard for F&B businesses in Thailand and Asia to connect with the rest of the world. Thaifex-Anuga Asia is without a doubt a key business-to-business gateway for the F&B industry” said Banjongjitt Angsusingh, DITP director general.
