KIDAPAWAN CITY: Local bonsai artist Herden Pedrajas, concurrent president of the Mindanao Bonsai Society Inc. (MBSI), and his bonsai entry, the semicascade styled “Dapedak” Blue Bell emerged as among this year’s top 50 international winners in the prestigious World Bonsai Contest held recently in Japan.
With the award, Pedrajas became the first Bonsai artist from Mindanao to attain such recognition.
