ILOILO CITY: International Oil Pollution and Compensation Fund (IOPCF) deputy director Jun Nichols announced that to date, they have received claim documents from 13,000 individuals and 34 resort owners who have been affected by the M/T Solar 1 oil spill in Guimaras.
Nichols met with the 3,700 claimants from the municipalities of Sibunag, San Lorenzo and Jordan together with the local officials of the said local governments Tuesday.
