A total of 1,699 structures were damaged and 1,653 families were affected by a 6.3 magnitude earthquake that hit Mindanao, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (NDRRMC) reported on Saturday.

Of the total, 1,360 were houses, 269 schools, 21 health facilities, 24 other public structures, 10 private establishments, eight places of worship, and seven roads and bridges in Davao (Region 11), SOCCSKSARGEN (Region 12) and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
