THE National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Board has approved the contract of a consortium led by San Miguel Corp. (SMC) and the Consunji group for the construction of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEx).
Of the P15-billion project cost, the government would cough up P3.7 billion to finance land and right of way (ROW) acquisition, acting Socioeconomic Planning Secretary and NEDA Director General Augusto Santos said.
