Czech Embassy holds roadshow in Cebu

Czech Tourism office in Seoul, in cooperation with Czech Embassy in Manila, organized the first road-show for V4 tourism promotion in Cebu on October 14.

The roadshow brought together representatives of travel agencies and tourism promotion institutions from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.

The project was financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic from its Economic Diplomacy Programme, with financial contribution from the Ministry of Local Development of the Czech Republic.

The event named “Discover Central Europe in Cebu City” brought together representatives of travel agencies and tourism promotion institutions from V4 countries (Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland) together with numerous travel agencies from Cebu City.

The CzechTourism agency was represented by Director of CzechTourism in Seoul Michal Procházka. The Czech Embassy in Manila was represented by the Consul Jan Krivos.

The Czech Republic is represented by VFS Global Centre through a Joint Visa Application Centre in Cebu City. This makes it easy for Filipino travelers from Cebu and neighboring provinces to apply for a Schengen visa when traveling to the Czech Republic as it is not necessary to go to Manila to obtain said visa.
