The local bourse found relief from the strong earnings of the banking sector on Monday, with its grasp nearing the 8,000 level.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) climbed by 0.30 percent or 24.03 points to finish at 7,946.53 while the wider All Shares barometer gained 0.15 percent or 7.22 points to close at 4,774.25.
