Road rage kills 17-year-old boy

A 17-year-old tricycle driver died after he was shot by a still unidentified suspect over an alleged road rage in front of a church in Barangay Poblacion, Pandi, Bulacan on Monday night.

Major Joy Placido, chief of Pandi Police Station, identified the victim as John Paul Bonifacio, a resident of Barangay Malibung Bata. The suspect and his companions were the subject of a manhunt.

At about 8 p.m. in front of Imacculate Conception Parish Church, the victim was waiting for his passenger when the suspect on board a white Mitsubishi car stopped and confronted him.

The suspect drew a short firearm and fired several times at the victim.
