DoLE, OPAPP sign accord on employment programs for decommissioned MILF combatants

TO assist and empower decommissioned combatants (DCs) of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and their families towards normalization, Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III, Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., and Joint Normalization Committee (JNC) Co-Chair Ariel Hernandez, sign a memorandum of agreement (MoA) for the implementation of livelihood and emergency employment programs to DCs and their communities, during a ceremony at Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE), Intramuros, Manila on October 21.
