BUREAU of Immigration (BI) officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) have intercepted seven human trafficking victims illegally recruited to work in the Middle East and Europe.

BI Port Operations chief Grifton Medina disclosed on Friday that the victims were intercepted in two separate incidents at the NAIA Terminal 3 amid the upsurge of passengers traveling during the break as the country observed All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
